Happy Easter

Morning all, and Happy Easter .....I do hope that you get to spend some time relaxing and doing something nice.
(My lovely card and chocolates are from the Easter Bunnies....you know who you are....Thank you!)

I am going to spend some family time as I have been neglecting my boys a little recently.....

This card has been made using the IndigoBlu Easter Egg stamp and the sentiment is from the BFF stamp set..
Last week I spent four days working on the IndigoBlu stand at the NEC and what a wonderful time I had. It was so good to meet so many fellow crafters, to chat and swap ideas. Here is the very talented Kay Halliwell-Sutton stood In front of the stand....

Thank you all for your friendship and support, Happy Crafting,

Hello...

Hi, ...well what has the weather been like? So much for spring....I looked at my pond today and it is frozen over....but there is frog spawn in it. I do hope it will be o.k.
It has been busy here but oh so enjoyable. Today I am going to show you some of the wonderful projects that I made whilst at the IndigoBlu Retreat. It really was fantastic and I highly recommend the next one.
This is what I made whilst doing a day workshop with Kay Halliwell-Sutton....it includes pieces using Kroma Crackle and Ice Resin....

We also had an introduction to Journaling......oh my first time....this was under the expert guidance of Sarah McCrossan....and once I had jumped in, embraced the idea oh it is Such Fun......and best of all....No rules.....anything goes.....Brilliant......

Here is another page,

And another, I got a bit Zentangle crazy with this one.......

I do hope you like them, thanks for stopping by today, keep warm as I think that this cold weather is set to last for most of April.......a good reason to stay in and craft....Jo. X

Here we are Friday and Challenge day, today over at the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge Blog the theme is .....Spring Days.......
And here is my D.T. card.......

I have used a lovely new stamp from Hobby Art ...Foam Daffodils ...I do think it fits the bill brilliantly...I stamped using Memento ink and then coloured using ProMarkers. The little butterfly, also from Hobby Art, is from the Beauty stamp plate. I think that it makes a lovely little embellishment and I do use it a lot. ....A few gems, some Glossy Accents and my card was finished.

Have a great weekend ,

Snow on Monday.....

Hi everyone, well can you believe all this snow and how cold is it? ...
Definitely weather to stay warm inside and craft....
Hope you had a good weekend. I had a lovely day on Saturday at CJ Cardcraft in Edgeley...where we had two workshops working with IndigoBlu products....including new stamps, FlitterGlu , Mega Flakes, and Glitter.
This is the first card that we made using the square peg round hole and Ickle Poppy stamps.....
Although I do call it ....the not so Ickle....Ickle Poppy stamp...

We used Autumn Blaze flakes which are a gorgeous colour combination...
This is the second card, where the crafters had a real crafty play making the background. Using a variety of the fabulous background stamps ....

It's worth remembering that you can use the FlitterGlu to stamp with and then add not just flakes, but Glitter, MicaPowders and Embossing powders...why not have a go....we did and loved it!
It was so good to catch up with friends and to meet new crafters too....thank you all for coming and look forward to seeing you again soon...
Just a reminder if you want to enter our blog Challenge .....great prize...go over to the IndigoBlu Forever 21, Challenge blog....go on have a go.....
That's all for today.
Cheers, Jo. X

More Crafting with PanPastels....

Good evening and how are you all this Wednesday evening?
Today, I have been at our regular craft workshops in Hazel Grove. As usual it was craft, coffee, chocolate biscuits and many moments of laughter. I do enjoy my hobby so, so, much.....
Today we used PanPastels, with sponges and applicator tools....this is the first card that we made...

It is homage to the one that Kay Halliwell-Sutton made on t.v. a few months ago....it was requested by one of the ladies....so we made a Jo version....I do hope you like it....
The background was created by swiping the card with the Pans and then stamping with VersaMark ink and then more pastel on top...
The flowers are created by covering card with random splodges of colour and then stamping the design with VersaFine ink and cutting out....we used the Bloomin Great stamp set.

This is the second card, we did some stamping and masking....the flowers are then coloured with the Pans, using the applicator tool. The stamps are from the Live, Laugh, Love set. The butterflies were stamped with Black Archival ink on Vellum and then cut out.
A couple of our regular ladies were ill today and we missed you so much....so get better soon, Wendy and Val....
Thanks for dropping in today and call back soon.
Crafty hugs,
Jo. X

What a weekend.....

Well Saturday was an early start and I was up with the lark, drove to Wolverhampton ready to start my day of demonstrating all the lovely new IndigoBlu products...the garden centre staff were really helpful and I met some great crafters.....
This is a few of the samples that I took with me...

My hotel was only 20 minutes away and my trusty Sat Nav got me there with no problems....
Sunday morning was a quick breakfast and on the road again to Kidderminster and another Garden and Leisure Centre...
Lots of FlitterGlu and Flake demonstrations and before I knew it, it was time to be leaving...Thank you to the other demonstrators that I met (and hope to meet again) and to the fantastic people that stopped by..
Just my luck, as I was about to leave my car registration was called out and I went out to find another car had rolled back into mine....and was wedged into my back bumper.....so names and addresses exchanged, photos taken and a couple of deep breaths and I set off home.....Charlie who works in the craft department was brilliant and really looked after me....(thanks Charlie)
Today has been phone calls to the insurance, oh and washing and ironing...
As my good friend Bernie would say.....Such Fun!!!!!!.....
Right, I am off now as Workshops on Wednesday to get ready.....
Enjoy your evening.....crafty hugs,
Jo. X
