Fashion.

Good morning all and thanks for looking in today..

Wow, It has been a very cold dog walk this morning...I am hoping that the weather will be kind to me tomorrow as it is Clarity Cumbria.

Today we have a new Challenge over at the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge Blog...and our new theme is

Fashion

And it is hosted by the lovely Tone,

And sponsored by Sweet Lilac Paper Flowers.

You can visit them here.......

http://www.sweetlilac.co.uk

Here is my DT sample ...( do hope you approve )

I decided that paper piecing would be just the job for this challenge

I started with a couple of my favourite Clarity stamps the Sketch lady and shoe...plus a couple of miniatures.

I used black Archival ink and stamped them onto white card.

And then onto some patterned card...I chose a lovely design from the Graphic 45 Time to Flourish collection

Next I added some colour with Spectrum Noir pencils

Plus a light dusting of colour around the edges of the card, and some faux stitching.

After cutting out the required part of the image I attached them to the stamped design using glue gel.

Oh and a little bit of charcoal shading for shadowing...

For the background I used an old paper pattern...these are great and if you are lucky like me you will have a good friend who will give you some,,,,if not they can be obtained at a very reasonable price from local charity shops...

Some matting and layering plus some lace from Sweet Lilac Flowers.

Next came my favourite bit....arranging the images , flowers and embellishments...

Is it only me ...but sometimes this takes me longer than anything else ????

Here is a closer look at the flowers and leaves from Sweet Lilac paper flowers...I do love to add some of their leaves

Another close up

I do hope you pop over to http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk. And check out the wonderful samples from the rest of the DT....and even better why not enter the Challenge...

I am off now some food shopping to be done, I need to top up the car with petrol and then carry on with my crafty list

Have a lovely weekend....thanks for popping in again...and call back soon.

Love and hugs

Jo. Xxx
